Once I had the privilege of performing alongside this funky beatmaster for the Psych-o-delic Circus back home in NYC. Joshua Fried played with us in an underground get-up beneath Lucky Cheng’s, the famous drag performance restaurant on 1st and 1st. They named the venue Cave Canem, latin for “beware of dog.” Not much to beware of in our space, though once there was a girl who’s piece consisted of her shmearing gunk all over her face and writhing in semi-masturbatory ecstasy on the floor.  She scared half of our audience away and turned the rest of us on. Beware the succubus…or was it, be-near the succubus? We usually only bit when asked.

:)

Anywho, I was following up on his doings and decided to give him some props. If you’re into experimental electronic music and controllerism DIG THIS.
