Training Help
Because much of my training process has to do with my spirituality and meditative process I will refrain from listing my complete overload regimen here in detail. However, I will continually list new, fun and challenging exercises that anyone can try here!
The approach I take to movement is my own, albeit coupled with vast training and learning experiences at The Hip-Hop Dance Conservatory, Ailey, with Stanley Love, Mr. Wiggles, Mouse of the Motion Sickness Crew and a myriad of other pioneers and masters within the movement arts sphere.
Because these fine people also instilled in me a sense of social and artistic responsibility it is my hope to provide guidance in a field that is flooded with gross misconceptions, danger and seemingly Sisyphean demands. I am currently engaged in the never-ending process of developing my own technique. I have gotten this far utilizing the years of teaching experience, performance, practice, observation and study and will continue to push current standards forward as I live more, learn more and grow more.
Countless teachers, colleagues, students and others have contributed to my education and so, indirectly have also contributed to all of the writing you will experience on this site and each piece of choreography I have presented you with. I am grateful to each of them and the many others who will cross my path in the future.
